Purpose and duties:

Provide members with informed support about title agent licensing and compliance with the Insurance Law and DFS regulations;
Serve as the primary point of contact between title agents and the Department of Financial Services, facilitating a better understanding of the singular characteristics of title insurance;
Create guidelines, forms and other documents which translate government requirements into practical advice for the private sector.
