Purpose and duties:

Develop relationships with state lawmakers to:

Ensure the value and continued consumer confidence in the financial product we provide
Minimize disruptions to the real estate finance marketplace and preserve business practices consistent with the concerns of the consumer
Benefit the consumer and preserve the marketplace by establishing among industry practitioners a clear understanding of rules and regulations to achieve maximum compliance and a level playing field
